Licenses and Certifications

• STARS is an approved service provider of Community-Based Services from the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Services Administration.
• The agency is an approved provider of Day Treatment & Training for Adults, also known as Day Programs, via the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities.
• Certifications are updated annually and audits are provided annually to verify compliance. STARS must comply with federal Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations at its work centers.
• STARS staff are required to take specialized training based on Division of Developmental Disabilities curriculum, receive Article 9 training related to protections of persons with disabilities, must have fingerprint clearances from Arizona Department of Public Safety and must maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
