STARS is an approved service provider of Community-Based Services from the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Services Administration.
STARS is also an approved provider of Day Treatment and Training for Adults, also known as Day Programs, via the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities. STARS also complies with federal Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations at both of our Work Centers and appropriate certifications and audits are completed annually to verify compliance.
STARS staff are required to:
- Complete specialized training using curriculum from the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities.
- Complete Article 9 training as it relates to the care and protection of persons with disabilities.
- Receive fingerprint clearances from Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
