Every day, STARS provides essential transportation for over half of our site-based participants, helping them attend our adult day programs at the Cholla campus or get to work through our CommunityWork program at the Osborn campus. These rides are crucial—they’re more than just a way to get from one place to another; they’re a lifeline that offers comfort, safety, and a sense of community.

We operate a fleet of over a dozen vehicles, including small trucks and state-of-the-art vans designed for the safety and care of our participants.
Since 2018, our organization has committed to hiring and training a dedicated team of drivers who focus solely on the safe transport of our participants. This specialized approach has greatly improved our service quality and employee satisfaction by allowing each team member to concentrate on their specific role. STARS has mitigated the risk for employee burnout that comes when a staff member is asked to take on multiple roles.
