At STARS, we believe that access to reliable transportation is not just a service—it’s a lifeline.
For so many of the individuals and families we serve, getting to and from our programs isn’t as simple as hopping in a car or catching a bus. Limited mobility, financial constraints, and lack of accessible transit options create real barriers that prevent people from receiving the support they need.
That’s why we launched our “Beyond the Ride” Transportation Campaign—to ensure that every participant at STARS has a safe, reliable, and dignified way to access our programs. Whether it’s a ride to our day training sessions, employment programs, or community outings, transportation means independence, opportunity, and connection.
Our Campaign Progress
Since launching this campaign, we’ve already made incredible progress—thanks to our dedicated supporters, we’ve raised over 60% of our goal, securing $48,000 of our $75,000 target! These funds have allowed us to expand routes, maintain our vehicles, and explore sustainable solutions for long-term transportation needs.
But we’re not done yet. With demand for these services continuing to grow, we need your help to reach the finish line and ensure that transportation is never a barrier for those we serve.
