It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our long-time team member and leader, Mr. Cliff Hamrick.
Cliff joined STARS nearly 16 years ago and quickly became a beloved employee, mentor, and advocate. When Cliff first joined STARS in 2008, he provided much-needed guidance and leadership to our CommunityWork (CW) program, then known as the “Work Center.” As the CW Manager, Cliff brought a level of compassion and commitment that helped build the foundation of the program as it stands today. Through his leadership and vision, he led by example every day.
He was a fervent advocate for our clients, encouraging them to believe in themselves and realize their full potential. Those of us who had the privilege of being mentored by Cliff, knew that if Cliff believed in you, you had no choice but to believe in yourself. His passion and dedication touched every individual in the building, both participants and employees.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Linda, who is also a valued member of our STARS team, and to his entire family.
