On August 12th, STARS had the honor of joining the Scottsdale Kiwanis Club for their breakfast meeting. It was an inspiring morning, filled with updates from local nonprofits and community leaders who are each making a difference in Scottsdale.
During the meeting, our very own Claudia Chavez shared how STARS empowers adults with developmental disabilities through employment services, recreational opportunities, and community connection. We’ve been part of this community for over 50 years, and gatherings like this remind us of the power of collaboration and support.
