In early 2021, STARS began offering in-home services to our participants and other eligible individuals receiving DDD services.  Families are interested in receiving support through STARS because we provide high-quality care and individualized attention.

For Live-In Caregivers

These dedicated parents & guardians are the family's silent backbone.

Many parents/guardians live in the same household with their loved ones who need ongoing care. This specific group of dedicated people are the family’s silent backbone. They maintain the continuing care and support needed to ensure the health and well being of their loved ones.

The HCBS program offers live-in caregivers (parents/guardians) a fair and competitive hourly wage to take care of their loved ones.  You will also become part of the HCBS team and receive one-on-one support and develop long-term relationships with other STARS DSP’s, participants, and families.  Our DSP’s never feel alone as we are just a phone call away. Supervisory visits, team meetings, and lunches are offered to all STARS’ employees regularly as a token of appreciation for their hard work and commitment.

For In-Home Care Support

An excellent opportunity to continue working on goals, achieving independence and maintaining engaged social enrichment!

Worried your loved-one is missing out on eligible services but due to health concerns cannot attend on-site programming? Do you, a parent or guardian, need a break and some time for yourself? Assistance with personal care, learning new skills, or enjoying community outings, STARS HCBS program is the place to look for in-home support. All services are provided by STARS certified and trained Direct Care Providers (DCP’s).

With HCBS, there is no need to limit services to regular program hours as our services are scheduled according to family needs, e.g. early morning, evenings, and/or weekends. Think of the available hours as an excellent opportunity to continue working on goals, achieving independence and maintaining engaged social enrichment with the support of a direct care provider.

We also offer Respite (RSP), Habilitation (HAH), Attendant Care (ATT), and Homemaker (HMK) services.  We look forward to serving youth, adults, and seniors to help accomplish their hopes and dreams while allowing families some time off.

Meet the Direct Support Providers (DSP) who make each and every day for our STARS participants a productive and memorable one.
